      Disclaimer
Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Bands. The Adjustable Gastric band is designed to recreate the sense of fullness you would get by eating large meal. But you only need to eat a small amount of food to get this effect. It requires you to eat slowly, and it makes you eat more slowly. If you eat too fast, food will feel stuck and you will want to stop eating straight away or you might vomit. So you eat slowly and then only allow yourself a short time to eat, around 20 minutes.
